Technology Health Assessment
How healthy is your technology environment?
In a focused assessment, eProxim looks beyond computers and cybersecurity. We examine how your technology is operated, secured, integrated, paid for, and used, and identify where better technology, integration, automation, or AI could reduce risk and unnecessary work.
What we examine
Eight areas. Broader than a security scan, on purpose.
01
IT Operations
Who owns technology? How is support delivered? How are users onboarded and offboarded? Are devices managed? Are vendors documented? Are responsibilities clear?
02
Cybersecurity
MFA, identity and access, endpoints, email, encryption, backups, restore testing, incident readiness, and policies.
03
Applications
What applications exist? Who owns them? Are there duplicates? Are licences wasted? Which systems are business-critical? Where do employees work around poor systems?
04
Integration
Where is information manually re-entered? Which systems hold duplicate data? Which applications should communicate but don't? Where are spreadsheets acting as integration layers?
05
Automation
Which repetitive processes consume employee time? Where do approvals and manual handoffs create delays? Which workflows can be automated?
06
AI Readiness
Where could AI create practical value? Are employees already using public AI? What data and security concerns exist? Where is human review necessary?
07
Technology Spending
What is being spent? Are licences duplicated or unused? Are contracts rational? Are capabilities overlapping? Is spending aligned with priorities?
08
Business Continuity
What happens if email or a critical SaaS platform fails? Can data actually be restored? Are key credentials documented? Who coordinates an incident?
How we report
No score. A clear status.
A single number hides what matters. Every area gets one of four plain statuses, with the finding behind it.
GREEN
Controlled
Owned, working, and evidenced. No action needed now.
YELLOW
Needs attention
Working, but fragile, undocumented, or costing more than it should.
RED
Significant exposure
A real risk to operations, data, or money. Address first.
GRAY
Unknown
Nobody can say. Often the most important finding.
What you receive
A concise executive report.
- Major risks
- Operational weaknesses
- Cost-saving opportunities
- Integration opportunities
- Automation opportunities
- AI opportunities
- Immediate recommendations
It is meant to be useful even if you never work with us.

Illustrative example
Illustrative example
IT OperationsNeeds attentionSupport is responsive, but offboarding relies on memory. Two former employees still hold active accounts.
CybersecuritySignificant exposureMFA is not enforced on 11 of 64 accounts, including two administrators.
ApplicationsNeeds attentionThree file-sharing tools in use; one holds client documents outside company control.
IntegrationSignificant exposureSales orders are rekeyed into accounting daily, roughly six hours a week.
AutomationNeeds attentionNew-client setup takes 14 manual steps across four systems.
AI ReadinessUnknownStaff use public AI tools; no policy, and no record of what data is shared.
Technology SpendingNeeds attentionAbout 18% of paid licences are unassigned or duplicated.
Business ContinuitySignificant exposureBackups run nightly, but no restore has ever been tested.
Immediate
Enforce MFA on all accounts. Disable the two stale accounts. Test a full restore.
Cost opportunity
Reclaim unassigned licences and consolidate file sharing onto one platform.
Automation opportunity
Connect the order system to accounting and remove the daily rekeying.
How it works
Three steps.
A conversation
We talk with leadership about how the business runs and what prompted the review.
A review
We examine the environment across all eight areas, with your team or current provider.
A walkthrough
